Connecticut Butterfly Association

Organized on August 3rd, 1994, the Connecticut Butterfly Association, (CBA) , is the first organization in the state devoted exclusively to butterflies and moths.
The objectives of the Connecticut Butterfly Association are to:
  • promote the awareness and appreciation of butterflies and moths
  • locate, inventory and encourage preservation of butterfly and moth habitat
  • develop and maintain a lepidoptera database.
CBA offers members:
  • Butterfly walks and field trips
  • Photography field trips
  • Educational indoor programs
  • Garden plant list to attract butterflies
  • Identification workshops
  • Newsletters
  • Connecticut Butterfly Checklist
  • The Life Histories of CT Butterflies
CBA is a recognized educational non-profit organization under IRS rule 501(c)(3).
