The decade-long butterfly atlas project is completed. Dr. O’Donnell will highlight key discoveries in Connecticut lepidopteran fauna as a consequence of the project, with commentary on the NEXT leap forward. Dr. Gall will discuss the life of the late Charles Remington and his influence on the Atlas and all things entomological in Connecticut. Dr. Wagner will update the status of rare Connecticut butterflies and the state’s efforts to revise its rare and endangered list. The presenters will be signing books; some may be available for sale, but you are advised to bring your own. The Atlas is available from the DEP bookstore, www.ctdepstore.com or 860-424-3555.
